The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao by American architect Frank O.Gehry,  is a great piece of architecture in the 20th century. The building is widely recognized for its curving lines, unprecedented form and uses of material. The museum's  Organic form resonates with the Nervión River passing by and the inter-connecting volumes of sandstone symbolizes the connection to the modern Bilbao community.

Interesting facts:
  • The main entrance atrium sits at the end of Calle Iparraguirre, one of the major road of Bilbao, running diagonally across Bilbao.
  • The museum sits in the center of a imaginary triangle of the city's CBD.
